I have successfully managed projects, people, new business operations, trained sales, lead process change teams, and built support services from ground zero. I have worked professionally for over 20 years, successfully transitioning from an IT corporate environment to academia. I am passionate about education and pride myself on leading adult students and staff to success both professionally and academically.

Academic

Working in a creative educational environment has been rewarding and challenging. My career change from a corporate IT environment to an academic one began about six years ago. I began teaching web design and technology classes at The Art Institute of Phoenix while working for the Automation College/ACS division at Honeywell. Working with a number of young adults professionally, I wanted to "go to the source" - academia -  to make a difference, positively impacting and improving academic and social development...........

Corporate

Working for high-tech companies, both large and small, has given me over 20 years of business experience. How far back do I go? I started working for Digital Equipment Corp. in the 70s, second only to IBM in mid-range systems and network services, and there were no desktop computers!! I worked with the team that took the orange Ethernet cable out of the box for the first time...........
